Overview

When collecting customer details in iCM you must use the ‘PERSONAL DETAILS snippet’ in the customer snippets library. This is so that we are consistent about what we ask for and the order we use.

You should follow this pattern whenever you need to ask for a user’s name and personal details as part of the service. Only ask for people’s details if you need that information to deliver a service.

A title should only be used if the back office system requires it, otherwise, this component should be disabled.

You can use a landline or mobile number
We’ll only use your email to send you a receipt

Things to remember

File upload must include a ‘clear’ button to let the user remove their uploaded file if attached by accident.
